DESIGN PROCESS
Our glasses are designed in-house.
Each frame from Vulcan Eyewear begins with sketches by our team of designers. Prototypes are then made and refined as needed until the perfect glasses are created and ready for production.
ACETATE & HARDWARE
Japanese & Italian acetate, bespoke hardware.
Our frames are made with Takiron Japanese, & Mazzucchelli Italian acetates. In addition our frames feature custom wire cores and hinges that stand apart from the crowd.
PRODUCTION
Handmade in Japan.
Acetate sheets are cut to shape using computer controlled mills & then hand finished. The frame is tumble-polished with wood chips & small stone, & then buffed & completed by hand.
LENSES
The finest lenses for optical and sun.
We custom cut and polish the edges of your lenses and feature anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coatings. Blue blocking computer lenses are available & our sunglass lenses are premium polarized.
